TEACHING

Kamilla is an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. In addition to a large private studio, she is also on the piano staff at the World Heart Beat Music Academy in Wandsworth, London. Kamilla's students perform in bi-annual students recitals, and are encouraged to explore aspects of music such as improvisation, jazz, conducting, theory and composition. Kamilla teaches all ages, including adults and beginners, and students up to ABRSM Diploma level.

Kamilla has previously worked as a private and volunteer teacher and tutor in the U.S. and in Liberia. Her volunteer experience includes tutoring underpriviledged students in northern Virginia, teaching music to at risk students in New Haven as part of Yale University's Instrumental Connection programme, and teaching music and dance as a summer counselor at the Cachelle International Creative Arts Center in Monrovia, Liberia.  As part of Music for Liberia's youth outreach, Kamilla is also happy to have worked with students from the World Heart Beat Music Academy and Kuumba Youth Music
